Honest Invoice ("the App") helps merchants generate invoices, packing slips and refund receipts for their Shopify orders.
When a merchant installs the App, we receive order data from Shopify via webhooks, limited to what is needed to render order documents: customer name, email address, billing and shipping address, order line items, prices, taxes, currency, order notes, and the customer's checkout locale (used to select the document language).
We do NOT collect payment card data, browsing behavior, or any data unrelated to generating order documents.
Solely to provide the App's functionality to the merchant: rendering and printing order documents. We do not use personal data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we never sell or share personal data with third parties.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (managed database with provider-level encryption, including backups). Access is restricted to the App operator; production and test data are kept separate.
Retention: all shop data is deleted immediately when the merchant
uninstalls the App, and again on receipt of Shopify's shop/redact
webhook. Customer redaction requests (customers/redact) result
in anonymization of personal fields.
